I am a Spanish freelance Conference Interpreter and Sworn Translator based in Barcelona. AIIC pre-candidate.

Interpreter of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai of Televised High Level Events and Plenary Sessions including simultaneous, whispering and consecutive interpretation of High Profile Keynote Speakers, such as M John Kerry, M Thomas Vilsack, M Cyril Ramaphosa, M Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Ms Teresa Ribera, Ms Razan Al Mubarak or M Miguel Díaz-Canel, amongst many others. 

I am OECD accredited and EU pre-accredited and have conducted a traineeship at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg. I am currently part of AIIC's mentoring program. Translator for the Directorate of Communications of the Council of Europe, Human Rights’International Organization based in Strasbourg, France. 

I have a seven-year education background in translation and interpreting. I have lived in 6 different countries (Spain, United States, Germany, Ireland, France and Luxembourg) and hold numerous academic achievements. I have been awarded the "Premio Extraordinario" distinction for having the best GPA out of my 75-students promotion. I am part of the SEDEA (Sociedad Española de Excelencia Académica) Spanish excellence society, and was awarded a scholarship from the Directorate General for Interpretation of the European Commission on my second year of Master's.

I have also been awarded the "très bien" mention on my final research thesis, which aims to guarantee high-quality at all times.

I have over seven years of experience as a translator. My conference interpreting experience encompasses Climate Change (SB60, COP28), Economics, Defense, Human Rights, Software, EWC and HR conferences, amongst many others.

Real-time multilingual communication.

The interpreter works in a soundproof booth providing real-time interpretation, while participants listen through headphones.

This mode can also be used online (Remote Simultaneous Interpreting, RSI) on certain platforms. I guarantee high-speed connection and acoustic quality.
Consecutive Interpreting

Consecutive interpreting

Suitable for short interventions and small groups.

The interpreter takes notes of what the speaker is saying, to then interpret the message after the speaker is finished.
Liaison/Bilateral Interpreting

Liaison Interpreting

This mode, also called bilateral interpreting, is aimed at one to one meetings where both speakers speak two different languages.

The interpreter will interpret back and forth from one language to the other to make communication possible.
